There’s so much similarity in Semiconductor memories and our Relationships:
Masked ROM: the data/code is fed at the time of fabrication [e.g. Your blood relations]
PROM: code needs to be written only once and then stays forever. [ your best friends]
EPROM: code can be erased through UV RAYS and can be then written again [may be ur bf/gf]
DRAM: volatile in nature and needs continuous refreshing [some not so close frnds]
SRAM: again volatile in nature i.e. holds data as long as power supply is there.. [ may be ur colleagues or those people who are there 4 u as long as u r in immediate contact with them]
